Traditional Chinese and veterinary medicine is a unique medical system guided by the theory of yin-yang and five elements, characterized by syndrome differentiation and treatment and a holistic view, and with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine as the main treatment methods. It is a traditional veterinary medicine in my country, which originated in ancient China and was formed after thousands of years of development and experience accumulation. Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine in a broad sense should refer to China’s animal husbandry and veterinary medicine before 1904. Since the Beiyang Veterinary School was founded in Baoding in 1904 and Western veterinary medicine was systematically introduced into China, there has been a difference between traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine. The traditional Chinese veterinarians mentioned in this book refer to traditional Chinese veterinarians in a narrow sense who use acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine as the main treatment methods.
